Biblical Creationism verses Modern Scientific Theories

Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south. The Bible and the Pleiades (Gerardus D. Bouw, Ph.D.) is written a Modern Genocentrist who has published numerous articles during and after his career concerning Modern Geocentricity. The Tychonian Society was founded in Canada in 1971 by the late Dutch-Canadian educator, Walter van der Kamp. The society was, and still is, a loose-knit, world-wide group of individuals from all walks of life. It’s original purpose was to disseminate information about the central place occupied by the earth in the universe. Walter van der Kamp.also published many papers on his geocentric theories, idea, and assumption. Danny Faulkner,  wrote: “Some creationists believe that the scientific assault on the Bible did not begin with biological evolution, but with the acceptance of the heliocentric (or more properly, geokinetic) theory centuries ago. These people believe that the Bible clearly states that the Earth does not move, and hence the only acceptable Biblical cosmology is a geocentric one. The term “Mazzaroth” actually means the twelve constellations of the Zodiac. Thus, God not only created the stars, but arranged them in star groupings that could be used for “signs, and for seasons” (Genesis 1:14). Since God does nothing without a holy purpose, we can be sure that these sidereal signs were not to be used as astrological signs. God’s Word, in fact, forbids the practice of astrology (e.g., Isaiah 47:12-14). The constellations must all in some way have testified of the coming Savior. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (II Corinthians 4:6). Before the Zodiac were given, the testimony of God’s primeval promises had somehow been written indelibly in the heavens, for those in earth’s earliest ages who had eyes and hearts to see.

• Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? (Job 38:31-33 KJV)

While this article touches on the subject of Biblical Creationism and does not delve much more into dealing with the pseudoscience available to modern science today, there are many more compelling sources that could be referenced to destroy the conventional wisdom of today’s scientific community. In conclusion, the Earth is not flat, the stars are stellar bodies, and the planets are indeed celestial bodies.

• John Hartnett: Pleiades and Orion: Bound and Unbound:  The beautiful Pleiades cluster and dominant Orion constellation are two of the most well-recognized groupings of stars in the night sky. They are mentioned in Job 38:31, where God poses a series of rhetorical questions to Job about the majesty of His creation, in contrast to Job’s abilities.
