“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! See, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”
(Matthew 23:37-39 ESV)
Yeshua will return to a Jewish Jerusalem when the Jewish people in Jerusalem welcome Him back. That means that Satan is trying desperately to keep the Jewish people from recognizing Yeshua as Messiah, he is trying to keep Jerusalem out of Jewish hands, and he is trying to wipe out the Jewish people. Satan knows that when a Jewish Jerusalem welcomes back Yeshua, it’s over and done for him.
Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
(Genesis 12:1-3 ESV)
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD.
(Psalms 118:26 ESV)
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!”
(Psalms 122:6-7 ESV)
